Plant Milks - The Plant Milks are the result of an emulsion between the hydrosoluble (aqueous) fractions and the liposoluble (oily) fractions of the plants, enabling all the active molecules to be concentrated. Nuxe laboratories have meticulously selected and combined the plant milks from 7 plants (acacia, blond pea, green tea, almond, oats, coconut, soy) known for their moisturising, softening, soothing and emollient properties. This unique combination results in a delicious cocktail for the daily care of dehydrated skin.
High-Tech Algae Extracts - Nuxe has selected a high-tech extract from red algae, Furcellaria lumbricalis, which is abundant in the Baltic Sea. It concerns a marine sugar, called oligofurcellaran, obtained by using an innovative and environmentally-friendly process: once the sugar is extracted from the plant, it is fragmented and then rehydrated in a solution enriched with marine salts in order to obtain a high-tech concentrate. This final dose of trace elements gives the molecule a structure that is very similar to that of hyaluronic acid. By acting on the tight junctions of skin cells and the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid, this active offers a dual action on both hydration levels and the effects of pollution. These actives are obtained using a “sustainable development” approach that harnesses energies released during the manufacturing process and doesn’t produce polluting waste.
Almond and Orange Blossom - Nuxe has combined all the beneficial properties of almond blossom with that of orange blossom in an exclusive floral complex. This involves expert extraction know-how due to the transience and fragility of the petals; the resulting complex combines the soothing and moisturising properties of these two flowers to soothe and soften all skin types.
